Mission Statement

Our mission is to reduce the impact of poverty on people’s lives and to empower them towards autonomy and self-sufficiency. To do this we will work towards improving living standards, ending child labour, promoting educational opportunities, fostering women's equality and autonomy, and promoting community self-reliance for people who are in need wherever they may live.

We believe that every human being has the right to live free from poverty, and we will work towards a world that provides equal opportunity for every individual in it.

Compassion

We believe that all people on our Earth are connected and that compassion is the unity we feel with people everywhere. Our work is based in the idea that individuals can act to give others less fortunate the opportunity not just to survive, but to develop increased personal autonomy and self-sufficiency. Our vision is of a compassionate and humane landscape where those who are more fortunate can provide real help to those in need.

We take very seriously the responsibility of acting on behalf of our sponsors and donors in our projects and our administration. Your trust in the integrity of our work is central to our mission.

Our goal is to be realistic in all that we do and make the most effective use of all our resources to help those in need of our assistance and support.
